How does the CSV format work?
Download the template above for the exact column headers. Each row is one employee: their name, employee ID, designation and PAN, followed by their earnings (basic, HRA, conveyance, special allowance, other earnings) and deductions (PF, professional tax, TDS, other deductions) for the month. Company name and month are entered once and applied to every payslip in the batch — they aren't columns in the CSV.
What happens to rows with errors?
A row missing an employee name, or with no earnings entered at all, is skipped and flagged in the preview table rather than silently generating a blank or broken payslip. Fix the row in your spreadsheet and re-upload the CSV to include it.
Does this upload my data anywhere?
No — the CSV is read and the PDF built entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server or stored anywhere; closing the tab clears everything.
